This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as a Realty Specialist responsible of real estate, real property, and space planning.
Duties
Provides project/program management responsibilities, integration, extensive coordination, and evaluation of HQ AMC realty and real property actions.
Develops and manages various real property automated systems to report accomplishments, audit preparedness and compliance, and space utilization.
Assures timely support and integration of new and/or changing real property, real estate, and space planning concepts by streamlining processes
Monitors and develops programs as a functional real property authority and executes projects for acquisitions, out-granting (i.e. land and real property for use by other federal agencies,
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- TDY travel is required 25% of the time
- Subject to a one year trial period.

Specialized and Other Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes 1) Negotiating with individuals/representatives in complex situations involving the acquisition of federal agency real estate interests; 2) Coordinating real estate activities including acquisition, divestiture, funding, and scheduling to complete assignments; 3) supporting audit readiness activities in real estate; 4) Providing direction on the application of federal agency acquisition standards to realty practice.
