This position is located in the Office Services Branch of the Administrative Services Division. The Supply Inventory Clerk provides customer service to the Courts. The primary responsibility of the position is the receipt, inventory and placement of furniture and equipment.  APPLICATION LIMIT: There is a 100-application limit for this vacancy and will close at 11:59PM EST on the day we receive the 100th application, or at 11:59PM EST on the listed closing date, whichever occurs first.

Requirements

  • Background and security investigation are required.
  • A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.
  • Must posses and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's permit.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or G.E.D plus two (2) years of general office experience.  Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds, and able to endure prolonged standing and walking.  Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's permit/license. A copy of your Motor Vehicle Operator's permit/licenses must be submitted prior to appointment.  Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted. The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.
