Duties
This position is located in the U.S. Capitol Police
(USCP), Office of the Assistant Chief of Police for Protective and Intelligence
Operations, Security Services Bureau (SSB), Physical Security Division (PSD), System
Operations Section (SOS).
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.To qualify at the CP-10 grade level,
you must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience that is equivalent to
the CP-09/GS-11 grade level. Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge,
skills, and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the
position.Such
specialized experience is defined as:Proven experience in administering video surveillance systems, preferably with expertise in video analytics.Proficiency in video analytics software and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large volumes of video data.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.To qualify at the CP-11 grade level,
you must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience that is equivalent to
the CP-10/GS-12 grade level. Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge,
skills, and abilities (KSAs) to successfully perform the duties of the
position.Such specialized experience is defined
as:Professional experience developing and defining parameters for advanced computer-based technology in video analytics and artificial intelligence systems.Strong leadership ability to coordinate operating elements pertaining to video analytics and artificial intelligence security program issues and functions.Skill in analyzing, evaluating, and identifying gaps to mitigate physical security system risks. Education
There is no education substitution for experience in this series and/or grade.
Although not required, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is desirable.
