Duties
This position is located in the Office of the Assistant Chief of Police for Protective and Intelligence Operations, Protective Services Bureau (PSB), Intelligence and Interagency Coordination Division (IICD).
Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.
For the CP-12 level you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-11/GS-13 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience which includes: 1) Expert knowledge of various personnel security programs principles, concepts, practices, laws, regulations and procedures; 2) Knowledge of analytical methods and techniques to conduct personnel security studies and audits; 3) Skill in presenting clear and concise recommendations and findings on highly visible or sensitive issues to all levels of management; and 4) Skill in applying comprehensive knowledge of personnel security management principles, concepts, practices and techniques required to modify or develop personnel security program changes.
