You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST (CBRN) in the Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) School, Marine Detachment Fort Leonard Wood, Training Command, Training and Education Command, Combat Development Command, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Duties

You will serves as a training specialist and is guided by Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Doctrine Training and Education Integration Branch (DTEIB) CBRN Doctrine. You will provide doctrine writing support for nine CBRN and four medical CBRN publications. You will develop doctrine under the guidance of the Doctrine Officer and Chief Doctrine Training and Education Integration Branch (DTEIB). You will analyze and evaluates historical, current, and emerging Combined, Joint, Multi-Service, and US Marine Corps (USMC) CBRN doctrine. You will review schedules of instruction and instructional material and related training aids and devices used in conducting the CBRN training. You will conduct validity and reliability studies to analyze test items prepared by curriculum developers. You will perform/coordinate/document results of analysis, design, and development of CBRN Programs of Instruction (POI).

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: demonstrating the ability for doctrine writing and curriculum development. Education

n lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:


Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.

or

LL.M., if related
