You will serve as a TARGETING SYSTEM SPECIALIST within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide systems administration and oversight responsibilities that involves analytical and evaluation of computer networks and/or telecommunications.
You will formulate policies concerning to management/utilization guidelines for INDOPACOM network automated fires and targeting systems.
You will develop and coordinates immediate and long-range fires and targeting automation management for INDOPACOM and intelligence community stake holders.
You will monitor and assists in troubleshooting and testing communications equipment including modems, cryptologic devices, bridges, and routers
You will review, analyze and evaluate fire and targeting plans of subordinate joint forces, sub-unified commands, service components, and functional components to ensure that targeting in support of contingency and crisis plans.
You will coordinate with operational personnel, identifies their needs and capabilities, and translates them into automated standards specifications.
You will train and educate the staff on command theater strategic and operational fires and targeting systems and applications in support of crisis response options and command strategic and/or theater war plans.
You will plan, train and conduct deliberate and dynamic fires in support of USINDOPACOM objectives and end states.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
For GS-13
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate:
1) Providing systems administration and evaluation of computer networks including multi-disciplined targeting/intelligence automated systems;
2) Developing, coordinating and executing policy and guidance on strategic targeting plans including targeting and attack policy, strategic targeting selection, and targeting guidance for operational fires;
3) Coordinating with operational personnel by identifying needs and capabilities and translating them into automated standard specifications; and
4) Training and educating staff on command theater strategic and operational targeting system applications.
For GS-12
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate:
1) Providing systems administration and evaluation of computer networks including multi-disciplined targeting/intelligence automated systems under the direction of a supervisor.
2) Developing, coordinating and executing policy and guidance on strategic targeting plans including targeting and attack policy, strategic targeting selection, and targeting guidance for operational fires under the direction of a supervisor.
3) Coordinating with operational personnel by identifying needs and capabilities and translating them into automated standard specifications under the direction of a supervisor.
4) Training and educating staff on command theater strategic and operational targeting system applications under the direction of a supervisor.
