Incumbent of this position serves as Financial Specialist providing financial system support.

Duties

Performs basic but progressively more difficult assignments under the close direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Typically acts as a member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents).
  • Successful completion of a background investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 3 years of progressively responsible general work experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least FG/GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to:(1) analyze problems to identify significant factors; gather pertinent data; recognize solutions; (2) plan and organize work and (3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing. OREducation Substitution: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university. OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE may be qualifying for this position.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History.
