Serves as a Financial Analyst within the FAA Logistics Center, Business Systems Group (AJW-L110), Finance Team (AJW-L110).

Duties

The Financial Analyst will administer corporate financial knowledge, accounting, technical, and communication skills, within the Business Systems Group for FAA Logistics Center supply chain (parts) and service order programs. The employee will perform revenue, cost of goods or services sold, expense analysis, financial results analysis, budgetary analysis, business planning (budgeting), report and present financial information and recommendations.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Successful completion of security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-I (FG/GS 13) Level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, (FG/GS 12) grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: accounting experience; preparing financial briefings and analysis; skill in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Database; applying comprehensive corporate financial knowledge and making financial recommendations to managers and operating officialsANDQuality Ranking Factor (QRF): Well qualified candidates will demonstrate experience in accounting with knowledge of Federal Appropriation Law and Revenue/Expense Recognition within a Franchise Fund/Fee for Service operational environment within their resume.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
