About the Position: Serves as a Procurement Coordinator for the procurement division of Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) and the supporting staff at Army Contracting Command (ACC) located in Crane, Indiana.
Duties
Perform pre-award procurement functions and works with technical experts in the mission areas as necessary.
Write or assist in writing Statements of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statements (PWS).
Review statements developed by the project team for adequacy and compliance with acquisition requirements.
Conduct market research, economic analyses, lease/purchase analyses and reviews task statements and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
Serve on the Technical Evaluation Team that evaluates vendor responses to government solicitations
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel occasionally.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. General Experiences: Three years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to the NH-01 grade level, which includes identifying and assisting with resolving problems in specifications and/or performance work statements; assist in allocating funds to ensure financial obligations are authorized and met; interpreting procurement policy, regulations, and guidelines.

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
