You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST of NAVAL POSTGRADUATE SCHOOL.

Duties

You will analyze data to resolve problems affecting administrative programs or requirements You will report analysis to managers or senior leaders regarding program performance and productivity You will collect, compile, or organize data for review by others.

Requirements

  • Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

GS 11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning, executing, and evaluating academic programs; 2) Analyzing research results and findings to assess the effectiveness of programs and operations; and 3) Recommending ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of academic programs and processes GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing academic programs in timely, accurate and effective manner; 2) Identifying appropriate data to conduct research; 3) Identifying and resolving discrepancies in data; 4) Create reports and presentations communicating the results of research activities. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-11
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related

GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
