About the Position: This Human Resources Assistant (Military) position is located at National Training Center, Office of the G1 with a duty location of Ft. Irwin, California.

Duties

Serves as a Human Resource Assistant (Military), performing as a technician specializing in Awards, Decorations, and Badges for the National Training Center (NTC) and Fort Irwin G1. Provides technical guidance and assistance to Battalion/Brigade S1s or other HR Professionals concerning the appropriateness of award recommendations and procedures for submitting award recommendations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • This position requires the incumbent to travel away from the normal duty station as required.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain both a valid Military and State Driver’s License.
