About the Position: The incumbent is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical functions that adhere to military personnel requirements and policies (e.g., training, leave, pay, performance evaluations, etc.).
Duties
Ensures all Letters of Instruction (LOls), eMILPO data reports, and eMILPO files are accurate and current.
Maintains a variety of automated systems and interfaces used to manage customers and required information and taskers.
Provides technical guidance to all supported activities concerning transaction processing and system software. Identifies training needs of system users and tailors training to meet those needs.
Composes correspondence of a routine and non-technical nature based upon oral briefings, notes, and information using various software and printing equipment on a regular basis.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the
duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 5% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the educational and/or specialized experience requirements described below. One year of specialized experience which includes (1) utilizing a human resources system (i.e. Electronic Military Personnel Office (eMILPO) to process personnel actions; (2) assisting in the review of military actions to ensure completeness; (3) reviewing reports to make recommendations; and (4) utilizing automated systems to input personnel data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-6).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
