Duties
Perform intensive logistics management duties to support complex, major communications systems from concept through deployment.
Lead and coordinate the development of (ILS) plans for major, complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements defining scope, interface requirements, policy issues and performance criteria.
Manage, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate the execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for major complex, systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements.
Monitor expenditures, leads and coordinates the development of (ILS) plans for major, complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level 1 (Foundational) in the Acquisition Career Field - Life Cycle Logistics within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time.
- This position requires submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This is a Term position scheduled to last 5 years. It may be made permanent based on management needs.
- Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Developing, implementing, and evaluating acquisition logistics systems to ensure products are supportable throughout their lifecycle and are in compliance with regulatory guidance; 2) Employing the use of automated property and logistics information management systems for the management, control, visibility and reporting of all equipment; AND 3) Performing stakeholder management and briefing senior leaders to convey logistics program status.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent.
