Duties

Manages all real property sustainment, restoration, modernization and new construction projects for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Directorate (MWRD) at the garrison level. Develops and maintains a current inventory of all garrison MWR and lodging facilities. Maintains installation population and other support requirements data that are used as the basis for project justifications. Serves as the single point of contact in MWRD for coordination in the preparation of project data forms (DD 1391) and supporting documentation. Submits programming documentation to Region headquarters for all projects over $200K. Provides overall management of assigned projects. Reviews project plans and specifications. Inspects material and equipment delivered to the site to insure they meet required specifications. Maintains liaison with Directorate of Public Works (DPW) with respect to project programming, construction progress, master planning, facility requirements and utilization and status of projects.

Highly Preferred Criteria: Knowledge of the organization, mission, policies, and three to five years governing project development, design and execution.
