About the Position: The position is located at the US Army Installation Management Command, Directorate of Public Works, Engineering Division, Ft. Benning, Georgia 31905. The "Maneuver Center of Excellence" is located 100 miles south of Atlanta and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.

Duties

Review contractor's preliminary studies to determine the most logical design suitable for the maintenance and repair projects. Serve as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) quality control representative under the public works function commercial activities Service Support Contract. Review all contractor project designs for functional adequacy and energy efficiency. Furnish technical engineering advice and assistance.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Must complete a financial disclosure.
