Duties
As a Business Service Support Specialist you will:
Assist program officials in defining the level and kinds of services needed to carry out assigned responsibilities and to accomplish project objectives.
Review procurement requests for adequacy of justification, availability of funds, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Provide the full range of business services in response to the specific needs of the organization.
Provide administrative and procedural support to the VISA Purchase Program.
Contribute to the development, enhancement, and improvement of administration and operations of the organizations internal/ external systems.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level, which must include the following experience: providing administrative assistance to managers in the areas of procurement/acquisition, property, facilities, and training to support day to day operations of an office.
OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
OR
A combination of specialized experience and education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
