About the Position: This position is located at the Army Health Clinic, Presedio, California. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and logistical support essential to the operation of the Clinic.

Duties
The incumbent will provide administrative and logistical support essential to the operation of the Presedio Army Health Clinic.
Perform administrative tasks in support of the Clinic day-to-day administrative operations.
Generate reports dealing with various directorate programs.
Gather information and data from specified sources for reports.
Maintain office files according to the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS)
Maintain Clinic civilian personnel records and security files.
Operate electronic typewriter, word processor, microcomputer, or computer terminal, with additional function keys to produce work accurately and efficiently.
Perform trips operating motor vehicle to receive, mail, parcel, packages and administrative supplies for the office.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation, (NACI) (TIER 1).
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations (natural or man-made disaster) .
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- Subject to work uncommon tours of duty hours such as, on-call, working either fixed or rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and/or holidays

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing clerical, administrative and logistical support essential to the operation of the department such as retrieving data from electronic records, compile records, maintain clinical civilian personnel record/security files, and prepare justification for the purchase/rental of office equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
