About the Position: Serves as the Senior Program Analyst and Program Manager for the development, coordination,implementation, evaluation, and the monitoring of complex Army concepts and initiatives for providing healthcare services throughout the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) and the Department of Defense (DoD).

Duties

Evaluates organization structures, management and administrative support systems for use in the health readiness programs and determines which systems or organizations best fulfill mission long range requirements of the Army Medical Department. This evaluation may include shared services with other federal agencies, the use of personnel services, contracts, or contracting for specific services required. Develops the impact and the resource requirements of proposed precedent setting legislative or regulatory changes on Federal health care programs such as MEDICARE, MEDICAID, and TRICARE. Conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the most effective means of meeting readiness requirements in support of the beneficiary populations.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required.
