About the Position: Serves as the Operations Officer (CUOPS) in the Religious Support Operations Center (RSOC) located on the U.S. Army Institute for Religious Leadership campus at Fort Jackson, SC.

Duties

Analyzes interrelated issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of substantive religious support-oriented training programs by analyzing metrics, developing solutions, and implementing Leader guidance for the Total Army Chaplain Corps. Develops, prepares and presents responses to complex and critical issues formal, informal, oral, and written communications to executive level military personnel at Army Service Component Commands, Direct Reporting Units, DA, and DOD levels. Provides expertise in the development and interpretation of training and operations policy (AR 350-1) Evaluates the impact of religious support on ACOMs, ASCCs, and DRU religious support operations, and implements solutions to ensure continuous quality improvements in overall religious support operations efficiency across the RSOC.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • One year trial period may be required.
  • This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
