You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the COMBAT DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE (CDD) of COMNAVSPECWARDEVGRU.
Duties
You will serve as program manager for Emerging Threat Defeat (ETD) and maritime counter-uncrewed systems (C-UxS) development and acquisition strategies.
You will provide acquisition oversight in support of the pursuit solutions to operational shortfalls.
You will participate in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) by developing, evaluating, and defending ETD acquisition strateg
You will provide programmatic oversight of ETD related research and development, test, and evaluation (RDTE) and procurement efforts that include electronic countermeasures, short-and-long-range threat sensors, targeting systems and and weapon system
You will direct, manage, and evaluate acquisition initiatives having immediate and long-term effect on Naval Special Warfare (NSW), SOF and the expenditure of considerable resources that often result in changing NSW tactics and doctrine.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is subject to random counterintelligence scope polygraph examinations.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. You will be required to sign a DD-Form-2760, Qualification to possess firearms or ammunition.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating combat development-related technology initiatives having both immediate and long term effects when operating in maritime and non-maritime environments AND investigating and analyzing a variety of complex problems and conditions associated with development and fielding efforts to include cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
