You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager in the PEO (T) PSE DIV / SE DEPT of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will determine resource requirements for a program.
You will develop strategies for achieving organizational program objectives.
You will prepare and present oral presentations on program requirements, guidance, and direction to all levels of government and industry management.
You will prepare program plans for accomplishing program goals and schedules
You will advise senior leaders on matters addressing program status, present or anticipated requirements, resources, and impediment.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band (NM-03/GS-09 to GS-12) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Leading organization in realizing both the local Division (i.e., Aircraft or Weapons Division) and the NAVAIR Strategic Plan; 2) Carrying out the full range of combined technical and administrative direction of others, and give advice, counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters; 3) Ensuring sound fiscal management by observing and applying STRL position management and classification principles; analyzing, monitoring, and reducing costs; forecasting budgets; and providing information to higher level management on future staffing, facility space, and equipment needs. 4) Serving as the single point of contact for all of the NAWC, interfacing with headquarters, contractors, and other government activities involved in the program; 5) Providing overall direction, coordination, and management of all facets and functions of a major technical program or several closely related programs; 6) Supervising a staff of assistant managers, project engineers, business managers, and functional specialists for overall technical direction; and solve technical problems and review work, to ensure both new and existing workload is assigned and project milestones and objectives are executed.
