About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserves Command, G 3/7, Training Integration Support Systems & Planning Branch located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Guide team members in technical and complex planning work of the ammunition management baseline implementing streamline initiatives resulting in cost and logistic enhancements to the ammunition community.
Represent the organization on matters relative to ammunition customer satisfaction, logistics readiness, and logistics efficiency.
Develop policy and operational changes to ensure maximum organizational effectiveness.
Implement solutions to ensure continuous total quality improvements in customer support and overall ammunition operations efficiency.
Present complex issues and resolutions to executive level military personnel and civilian VIP executives and groups at Major Subordinate Command (MSC), Major Command (MACOM), Department of the Army (DA), and Department of Defense (DoD) levels.

Current Department of Army Civilian Employees
In order to qualify, you must meet the education requirements described below. Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1. Utilizing established standards and criteria to measure program effectiveness in the development of ammunition programs, systems and processing.
2. Implementing plans designed to meet organizational goals and requirements for an ammunitions program.
3. Identifying organizational barriers and recommending new approaches to improve the effectiveness of the Single Manager Conventional Ammunition (SMCA) ammunition life cycle mission.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
