About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserve Command, Army Reserve, G-3/7, Training Integration Division located in Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Serve as the Deputy, Training Integration Division (TID) for planning, management, integration and operations on all matters related to Training Integration of Leader Development, Institutional Training, Collective Training and Contract Management.
Represent Army Reserve on process action teams and working groups performing systematic reviews of training regulations.
Represent the Army Reserve at coordination meeting with external agencies and planning sessions for all designated areas of responsibility.
Manage the publication and distribution of the USAR Command Training Guidance for the CG, United States Army Reserve.
Develop and revise operation procedures in accordance with established policy and requirements.
Ensure effective and timely resource reporting system is maintained as well as conduct periodic reviews of all contracts.
Prepare organization and manpower input for organization structure and mission accomplishment.
Brief special training assignments and other statistical information for presentations and decision briefings to higher headquarters and subordinate headquarters.
Division supervisor responsible for managing training guidance, training policy, training automation systems, Distance Learning program, simulations, training management programs and sustainable range program.
Coordinate matters pertaining to position management, recruitment, grievances, appeals, unresolved complaints, and training needs.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes demonstrating expertise knowledge of military training programs, management processes and policies, contract oversight; managing installation training support requirements; managing military input to headquarters program management reviews; conducting oversight of mission command training centers; advising key officials, members of boards and committees, military and civilian program managers on a key aspects of training program requirements; reviewing and analyzing training policies to determine the impact on training programs; developing training events and exercises to meet specific training needs; and ensuring effective and timely resource reporting. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
