This position is located in the Natural Resources Conservation Service, United States Department of Agriculture.
Incumbent provides support for the administration, financial, and/or management of statewide Farm Bill programs under the Assistant State Conservationist for Programs (ASTC-P). Work with programs such as the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP), Financial Assistance programs Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), and/or Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
Duties
Maintaining easement databases and spreadsheets to track application status, easement closings restorations, and monitoring.
Assisting the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program (ACEP) Coordinator in ordering and reviewing Title Commitments and Policies.
Communicating directly with financial management staff in order to ensure funds are obligated on schedule.
Gathering program information to assist leadership staff in analysis of Farm Bill program performance.
Assisting with conservation program contract administrative tasks including entering waivers, cancellations and terminations into the contracting tool of the agency.
Requirements
- You must be a US Citizen or US National.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience and/or education for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:
GS-09
Specialized Experience: One or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:
Assisting with the administration of legal documents such as contracts or titles;
Helping staff organize program information to assist leadership staff in analyzing the program's performance;
Assisting with reviewing a variety of administrative documents (ie: surveys, contracts) for accuracy and completeness; and
Using spreadsheets and databases to populate, track, and maintain information related to contract statuses.

Or
Education: Must have successfully completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. (Must submit transcripts.)
Or
Combination: Must have a percentage of the education and experience as described above that totals 100% when combined. When combining education with experience, first determine total qualifying education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; then determine experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; finally add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify an applicant for that grade level. (Note: Only education in excess of one year (18 semester hours) is qualifying when calculating education percentage). (You must submit transcripts.)
GS-11
Specialized Experience: One or more full-time years (12-months) of specialized work experience, equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, performing the following duties:
Assisting with the administration of legal documents such as contracts, mortgages, or easements;
Developing presentations about program information using tables, charts, and other materials to communicate with management team members;
Collecting program information to assist leadership staff in analyzing the program's performance;
Reviewing a variety of administrative documents (ie: surveys, contracts) for accuracy and completeness; and
Using spreadsheets and databases to populate, track, and maintain information related to contract statuses.

Or
Education: Must have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. (Must submit transcripts.)
Or
Combination: Must have a percentage of the education and experience as described above that totals 100% when combined.
