About the Position: You will be part of managing and providing the information technology network and business systems that the U.S. Army need to operate every day. You will serve as an IT Specialist of the Enterprise Business Systems - Convergence (EBS-C) by providing Agile support services for authorized customers, both in and outside DoD, including government, non-government organizations, domestic and foreign.
Duties
Provides planning, direction, and administration of a variety of information technology (IT) programs, serving multiple functions to include the acquisition of systems hardware and systems software, and related services and supplies.
Explores, analyzes, and establishes programs ensuring that the internal and external functions are executed in accordance with established policy, deadlines, and funding ceilings.
Liaisons with industry; evaluating their equipment and software support capabilities as a result of exploiting new technological developments, improved contract terms, or by upgrading to newer versions of systems software.
Provides oral and written recommendations to the program manager/director in connection with the engineering aspects of data automation to include knowledge of the newest developments in IT.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret Security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level 2 (Practitioner) in the Acquisition Career Field - Program Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: In order to qualify for this position your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 or equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Appling analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet business requirements of customer organizations; 2) Providing technical expertise to oversee the cybersecurity risk assessment process; 3) Reviewing assurance documents to confirm levels of risk within acceptable limits and assist in the management of system requirements; 4) Ensuring application and integrity of program requirements; AND 5) Applying knowledge of current automation technology and cybersecurity practices.

The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or GS-13 equivalent.
