Duties

Serve as senior functional specialist and technical advisor to the Assistant Chief of Staff (ACoS). Serve as the G4 senior staff logistics management specialist lead and USARPAC Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Acquisition Cross Servicing Agreements (ACSA) Program. Utilize specialized knowledge of various logistics support disciplines (supply, maintenance, and transportation) in planning, programming, directing and evaluating logistics management programs. Assist in developing and performing review of annual budgets for G4 programs. Develop policies and procedures to include alternatives that encompass provisions for logistical support that is feasible, flexible, efficient and economical. Coordinate and direct the progress of logistical programs with team members, functional peers, subordinates and lateral staff officers.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of up to 20% may be required.
• Work outside normal duty hours may be required. This may include shift work, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
