You can view the full position description on the Agency intranet at the following link: PD Search Incumbent serve as a Team Leader, on a regular and recurring basis for at least 25% of the duty time, working with team members to achieve specific tasks, produce work products and services, and meet program and production goals. The Team Leader also participates in the work of the team by performing the same kind and level of work as the team they lead.

Duties

Leads the team by identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization, makes adjustments to accomplish the workload... [cont.] in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks, and ensures that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product. Ensures that the organization strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, work products and services. Researches, learns, and applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and work products Ensures that work assignments/projects of the employees of the team are carried out by arranging work among employees to allow timely completion and adequate work for each employee. Keeps up with the status of the work, making appropriate adjustments in accordance with priorities. and reports to the supervisor on unusual problems that arise and on expected completion times. Monitors and reports on the status and progress of work, checking on work progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor’s instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines, and quality have been met. Prepares reports and maintains records of work accomplishments and administrative information, as required, and coordinates the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information to the supervisor and executives.

Qualifications

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 52 WEEKS OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE at the GS-13 level, or equivalent, which is in or related to the work of the position to be filled. The specialized experience required for this position is: Analyzing and formulating recommendations on operational and program policies with a focus on service delivery workloads; AND Planning, organizing, and providing direction to a team or teams of specialists, which may include tasks such as, overseeing workgroup timelines and milestones, leading workgroups, coordinating the work of others, and consulting with stakeholders to produce project plans and overseeing them through the development and implementation stages. Specialized experience is REQUIRED and must be explicitly documented/described in your resume, or you will be disqualified from further consideration. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Applicants for promotion to the GS-14 must have 52 weeks at GS-13. Time in grade requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement
