This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Acquisition and Grants Management,(OAGM).
As a Supervisory Management Analyst, GS-0343-15, you will serve as a first-level supervisor and Division Director who leads a staff responsible for the technical functions that affect the management of OAGM administrative operations.
Duties
Provides leadership and guidance in the selection and/or development and creation of efficient tracking tools, methodologies, and techniques required to support workforce diversity principles and practices.
Generates and applies new hypotheses and concepts in planning, conducting, and evaluating short and long range and operational and management practices to advise OAGM Executives and Senior Management during the Strategic Planning process.
Leads a staff responsible for the technical functions that affect the management to include budget, personnel, strategic planning facilities, communications, and technology.
Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the resources required to assure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective accomplishment of the Office's functional responsibilities.
Coordinates all facets of the Staff’s work by mobilizing a staff of management analysis and technical professionals.

In order to qualify for the GS-15 , you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: 1) Evaluating administrative operations and providing advice to senior management on the objectives, accomplishments and attainment of organizational and workforce goals AND 2) Identifying and recommending organizational wide policies, procedures, or initiatives supporting human capital and operations support AND 3) Reviews and edits administrative and executive management communications to ensure content accuracy, grammar, and spelling.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
