About the Position: This Program Analysis Officer (Nuclear Surety) is located at White Sands Test Center, Commander Surety Office, with duty location of White Sands MSL Range, NM. White Sands Test Center uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $109,908.00(with locality).

Duties

Serves as White Sands Test Center’s (WSTC) Surety Officer and primary point of contact for the Command’s Nuclear Surety Program. Analyzes existing nuclear surety policies and regulations, surety program goals and objectives, new legislation, and new policies and procedures issued by DoD and DA to determine impact on WSTC’s surety program and resources. Establish policies for the command for successful accomplishment of the program. Provide administrative and technical program oversight to include planning, direction, and evaluation, to maintain a safe. Secure, and compliant nuclear program.

Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the duration of your employment.
  • One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 15% of the time.
