About the Position: The incumbent will work as a Supply Technician (Office Automation) in the Classroom Services Branch of the Combined Arms Center & Fort Leavenworth, Leader Development & Education, Logistics Division, at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Duties
As a Supply Technician (Office Automation), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
Maintain automated property accountability records.
Conduct annual property book audits.
Participate in inventory process.
Post receipt documents and, if necessary, analyzes and resolves computer rejects.
Research availability for specialized items required.
May be required to assist with snow removal as deemed necessary.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Secret clearance while occupying this position.
- This position requires the services of a qualified typist.
- A medical screening is required prior to appointment and the incumbent may be re-evaluated at any time after appointment, based on management discretion.
- The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid, state-issued, driver's license.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing supply systems and regulations to support organizational operations; experience using supply procedures to track items and experience resolving inventory discrepancies for accountability. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
