Duties
As a Computer Scientist, the duties will include:
Perform full stack web development and related system engineering for internal and external systems.
Design and develop functional static and dynamic web pages, back-end servers, leaderboards, and evaluation scoring systems for evaluations and challenges.
Develop software to support collaborative evaluation-driven research by integrating multimodal
data & prototyping of novel algorithms.
Support advancing evaluation methods supporting multimodal analytic/forensic/biometric test and measurement technology integrating web aspects into enterprise evaluation infrastructure.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
In addition to the basic requirements, applicants must have specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 (ZP-II at NIST) level. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience with application development utilizing different system architectures and system hardware environments.
Experience with multiple hosting platforms, such as: Windows, Linux, VMware, Azure, Amazon cloud computing platforms
Experience using Linux operating systems in a production environment and virtualization technologies such as AWS, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes and Openstack.
Experience with programming languages, and related web technologies, such as: Java, Javascript, Python, C#, C++, Perl, Ruby on Rails, SQL, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, DOM.
Demonstrated experience with agile design and development processes and effecting the software implementation process.
Agile development with Scrum, application security, developing system requirements, system design, design documentation and development.

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
