The primary purpose of this position is to To manage the Depot Maintenance Equipment Program for the Depot Maintenance Activity Group (DMAG) Directorates. Responsible for planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over Capital Purchases Purchases, programming financial planning and execution, budget administration and providing guidance.
Duties
Plan, organizes, and overseas the activities of the Depot Maintenance Equipment program (DMEP).
Directs DMAG in the management of the Depot Maintenance Equipment Program (DMEP).
Represents the DMAG in management of the DMEP.
Provides advice and assistance to personnel developing requirements, designing, procurement and budgeting to effectively meet current and long-range program goals and objectives.
Requirements
- The work requires frequent trips to participate in meetings on Robins AFB with DMAG customers, financial managers and procurement. Area visits may necessitate extended periods of standing and walking.
- The work is primarily sedentary and is located in an area that is adequately ventilated, cooled, heated and lit.

- PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management positions. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
OPM Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes: Planning, directing, organizing and exercising control over Capital Purchases Program financial planning and execution, budget administration, and providing guidance to industrial engineering technicians and service contract specialist.
FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. NOTE: Applicants applying as VEOA candidates who are current GS civil service employees or are prior GS civil service employees within the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices relating to financial management, equipment, procurement, production and management information systems.
2. Knowledge of common budgetary practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, and guidelines.
3. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the DMEP staff of an organization and upper management.
5. Ability to analyze, plans, and adjusts the operations of one or more equipment segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
6. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
DUTIES:

PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
