About the Position: This position is located at Rosslyn, Virginia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.

Duties

Plan, analyze, and review major programs associated with the acquisition of capabilities involving information technology, services, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, facilities, etc., within the Military Health System (MHS). Exercise technical and administrative oversight over a range of personnel responsible for planning, developing, monitoring, and controlling costs, schedules, performance, and risk mitigation strategies of MHS Acquisition Programs. Review, analyze, and evaluate accomplishment of overall program by review or reports, studies, products, and information provided by staff members, support personnel, contractors, and other agencies. Develop, maintain, and coordinate a responsive program to assure availability or resources to meet established milestones and events for development and fielding of the system. Develop short and long-range plans and objectives for assigned systems/programs. Provide staff guidance and direction to elements engaged in the development and implementation of plans and objectives to assure that actions are in keeping with PEO/PMO and higher echelon objectives.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Practitioner : This is a DOD Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Program Management certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
• This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
