This position serves as a Facilities Support Specialist in a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Engineering Services (AJW) Boston Field Maintenance Program (AJW-2E15D) facility. The position reports to the BOS FMP Manager and is responsible for customer service, contract monitoring, and facilities support for buildings owned or managed by the FAA.
Duties
The incumbent will perform multiple and varying assignments under the limited direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced professional. Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team and may perform so projects/programs or other work activities.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
Qualifications
To qualify for FV-H, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG/GS-10/11. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: experience performing maintenance and minor repairs on FAA owned vehicles, heavy equipment, generators, or tools. Experience with administrative and service tasks which supports facilities programs/projects in accordance with governing policies and regulations.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
