You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SPECIALIST (INFORMATION SECURITY/SYSTEM ANALYSIS) in the Information Management (IM) Office of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Duties
You will analyze and define data requirements and plan for anticipated changes in requirements.
You will analyze feedback to determine extent to which technologies and services are meeting requirements.
You will analyze information to plan the development of a new application or modification of an existing application.
You will analyze internal operational architecture, tools, and procedures for ways to improve performance.
You will apply service-oriented security architecture principles to meet requirements.
You will oversee standards and strategies to ensure procedures and guidelines comply with requirements.
You will ensure all users meet DoD and DON requirements prior to system authorization and access.
Requirements

- This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. Incumbent is required to comply with the DON Cyber IT/CSWF Program requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing corrective measures to information technology (IT) security issues; 2) Leading IT projects by managing risk, human resources, scope, time, cost, quality and framework; 3) Advising personnel on IT security regulations, policy and procedures; and 4) Integrating Information Assurance requirements into new and existing systems.
