Duties

You will plan, coordinate, manage, staff, budget, and direct work of assigned subordinates in carrying out program responsibilities. You will lead and direct staff and provide for their training and development. You will develop, participate in, and lead teams. You will support Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Diversity and Inclusion, and programs in accordance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You will provide technical direction and leadership to engineering technicians performing process development, scale up, and manufacturing of a wide variety of energetic products. You will provide expertise and understanding in the area of propellant manufacturing. You will work with energetic processing equipment and understanding the associated hazards.

• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team of engineering technicians in the processes and production of energetics manufacturing for surface warfare systems.
