You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the FACILITIES BRANCH of the INFRASTUCTURE DIVISION in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $145,617).
Duties
You will provide technical oversight and management of facility infrastructure projects as a Subject Matter Expert for planning, design, and construction processes.
You will provide management of facility infrastructure projects with little to no technical supervision, ensuring all requirements of the project are in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
You will perform project compliance inspections and execute corrective actions when compliance concerns are identified.
You will be responsible for Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) project planning and execution at the activity.
You will plan the maximum accomplishment of required workload within budgetary, manpower, and material limitations.
You will function as an activity SRM project manager to ensure client project work is completed on time and within budget.
You will support management and planning personnel in preparing requirements and criteria for complex or high value projects.
You will provide technical guidance, advice, and recommendations to Facilities Leadership on problems and critical matters pertaining to assigned
division operations and programs.
You will develops work schedules, cost estimates and execution plans for projects.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and developing technical engineering methods and techniques to provide technical oversight of the planning, design, construction of facilities infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with safety and technical requirements.
