About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Military Police School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, bordering Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2-hour drive east and Springfield is a 1-hour drive west of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Coordinate with staff to make required changes to Army education and training to ensure conformity to accreditation and credentialing standards. Develop an accreditation and credentialing information system which recognizes approved education and training. Perform supervisory duties performing accreditation and credentialing duties. Provide counsel or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters. Supervise the review and analysis of all U.S. Army Military Police School instruction and civilian credentialing requirements. Coordinate and implement analysis of ongoing and proposed program efforts to ensure compliance with objectives.

  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes: supervising or administering a training program; developing or reviewing training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluating training results; planning and implementing law enforcement accreditation and credentialing procedures; and developing and managing contracts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education / Training Program AdministrationLeadershipTraining and Education AnalysisWriting Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcements.
