You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST in the EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY DIVISION of HDQTRS NDW.

Duties

You will evaluate grievances, disciplinary, or adverse actions involving Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) issues to determine the most appropriate course of action. You will investigate Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints to develop proposed resolutions. You will negotiate resolutions to discrimination complaints with management and the complainant You will advise managers and employees concerning the advantages to utilizing an Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) program.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing advice and guidance on the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints process; 2) Performing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) counseling; 3) Employing alternate dispute resolution techniques; 4) Conducting briefings, orientation, and training on Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program Requirements.
