You will serve as a EQUAL EMPLOYMENT MANAGER in the Judge Advocate General within NLSC.

Duties

You will manage the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)/CMEO program for 12 Commands and 2 Headquarters staff (OJAG and CNLSC) You will manage the complaint resolution process and serves as mediator as needed You will oversee, manage and modify (as necessary) the discrimination and harassment informal and formal complaint process You will develop electronic and written briefs as required for the harassment prevention and equal opportunity office You will manage the CMEO program ensuring command positions are filled with qualified individuals You will manage and direct CMEOs to implement program improvements You will provide written and oral recommendations on EO issues and policies pertaining to individual cases and Navy-wide guidance. You will be responsible for establishment and maintenance of climate wellness initiatives within CNLSC (Human Factors Council; Command Resiliency Team; etc.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.Planning, directing, staffing, carry out and evaluating a full equal employment program including affirmative action, special emphasis programs, minority and compliant counseling, investigation adjudication, and conflict resolution; 2. Understanding relevant EO instructions, policies, and organizational structure; 3. Having and understanding of organization structure of the agency including the assignment of function to subordinate organizations; 4. Using oral and written communication skills to develop and present cogent arguments of the acceptance of controversial points-of-view as well as communicating with managers and employees at all levels of the organization; 5. Having knowledge of administrative laws, policies and regulations which support mission goals and objectives; and 6.
