This position is in the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Dept of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will serve as a senior advisor to the Chief lnformation Officer (CIO) and CIO leadership for White House and federal inter-agency coordination; perform a wide range of senior-level assignments with DOE and senior Federal officials; and advise the Chief lnformation Officer and the leadership on updated various policies, initiatives, activities, and recommended actions.

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:

- This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing and thereafter.
- You are required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually
- This position is not included in a Bargaining Agreement.
- New managers are required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- New managers may have required training to be completed within the first year.
- This position does not support 100% remote work. You will be required to report physically to the official reporting worksite as specified by the supervisor, but no less than 2 days per pay period.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of 3 of the following:
Representing an Agency by partnering with government, industry, or academic partners on collaborative information technology/cybersecurity innovations.
Conducting analysis on administrative policies and programs which advance the Information Technology (IT)/cybersecurity infrastructure.
Providing input to proposed IT policies and assess impact of proposed policies on Department of Energy interests.
