Duties
You will serve as the Physical Security Specialist in Physical Security, Antiterrorism (N00SM1), Security Manager (N00SM) at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Pacific (NCTAMS PAC).
You will serve as the Assistant Physical Security Manager responsible for all aspects of physical security for the command on matters relating to physical security and loss prevention programs.
You will conduct evaluation inspections and security assessments of physical security and loss prevention programs to assess compliance with directives, identify discrepancies or weakness in security readiness, and coordinate a resolution.
You will draft and develop the Physical Security Plan, standard operating procedures and job qualification requirements for watch standing personnel.
You will draft and develop the Physical Security Plan for NCTAMS PAC, standard operating procures and job qualification requirements for watch standing personnel.
You will serve as the Assistant Information Security Officer providing day-to-day guidance and instruction to administer an effective Information Security Program that applies adequate safeguards and protection of sensitive and classified material.
You will investigate and report security violations and compromises, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
You will assist with the management, development and implementation of the anti-terrorism and force protection program.
You will investigate and report security violations and compromises to the Command Physical Security Manager.
You will assist in the developing and administration of the Command Security Education Program.
Requirements

- You must successfully complete a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
-Experience identifying security concerns and recommending corrective actions.
-Experience safeguarding, handling, and overseeing the destruction of classified material.
-Experience performing safety inspections to ensure compliance with protocol.
-Experience providing training and instruction to personnel to ensure effective procedures are in place.
This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL, Series and Grade GG-0080-09.

Education
Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position:
Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree; or
Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; or
Possession of a LL.B. or J.D., if related to the position being filled.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be combined to meet the total qualification requirements for the position.
