This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Office of Information Services, Enterprise Data and Analytics Management Division. The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (Data Management).
Note: This is not a Remote position.
Duties
As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (DATAMGT), you will:
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for this position includes the following:
- Developing and implementing Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) based solutions; AND
- Leading or implementing data analytics projects or programs; AND
- Interpreting policies or procedures for planning and delivery of IT services; AND
- Leading transformations of structured or unstructured data to prepare data to use for creating datasets and dashboards.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
