This position will be assigned to the JBSA Lackland Skylark Bowling Center.
This is a flexible category position, with no guaranteed hours, may work up to 40 hours per week. Scheduled as needed. Employees appointed to a flexible (intermittent) category position are not eligible for benefits.
Duties
Responsible for the daily needs of the Bowling Center operation are to include opening and closing procedures, along with cross training in all areas of the bowling center where needed. Support handing out shoes, kids lightweight bowling balls, and ball ramps when needed. Offer assistance in cleaning up the facility as needed to include, wiping down tables, putting balls back on the racks, and mopping up spills that may occur. Follows all operating instructions and procedures in dealing with customers in a professional and timely manner. Required to make sure all cashier drawers are accounted for and balanced, as well as annotating any discrepancies on a daily basis. Make sure all reports have been processed at the end of the night, which is to include credit cards as well as POS systems. Balance vault each night and prepare deposits nightly.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays or special situations.

Qualifying Experience:
No experience required. Desired knowledge of Bowling Center and Snack Bar operation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Must have knowledge in using POS systems
2. Skills in leadership
