About the Position: Performs full range of administrative and support type duties in such areas as travel, government purchase card procedures and usage, administration, files management, property accountability, and reports for the Mission Support Office (MSO) and organization personnel.

Duties

Ensures documents supplied by originators meet the minimum Section 508 compliance requirements requiring Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. Coordinates with HQ USACE Digital Library to gather and collect data concerning technical, scientific, and professional subject matter documents and materials for imaging. Serves as the primary government purchase cardholder for the Mission Support Office, responsible for ordering of equipment, supplies, and renewals for MSO team. Supports organizational timekeeping for Mission Support Office (MSO) Responsible for records management, reports control, forms control, and preparation of administrative standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the MSO office.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience collecting and reviewing documentation in compliance with written policy; AND 2) Experience managing and coordinating communication strategies to support organizational goals; AND 3) Experience completing administrative duties such as records management, responding to request for information or completing timekeeping for an office. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ClericalComputer SkillsManages and Organizes Information Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
