This position is located at MWR Outdoor Recreation/Destin Recreation Center. This is a regular full-time position (40 hours) and is eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plan.

Duties
Responsible for management control and efficient operation of a Recreational Lodging operation. Responsible for the front office, housekeeping and maintenance functions.
Conducts surveys and studies to ensure that services and facilities meet the needs, cleanliness and desire of patrons.
Implements new policies or innovative promotions that increase occupancy rate, deliver quality guest service and maintain the required level of profitability.
Develops and implements strategies/procedures to ensure safety and security of occupants. Responsible for the oversight and management of the beach activities and facilities.
Responsible for the oversight recreational lodging units of various sizes, beachfront operation to include rental of beach equipment, facility management of public beachfront pavilions and meeting facilities,.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Progressively responsible management experience in hospitality operations with knowledge of funding streams and demonstrated work experience developing and executing budgets and marketing.
Ability to supervise a diverse workforce.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; deals effectively with subordinates, management officials, and patrons.
Ability to use a computer and various Microsoft Office software.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
Highly Preferred Criteria:
Highly Qualified candidates WILL possess 3 years or more experenice operation a supervised lodging operating with multiple locations?
Highly Qualified candidates WILL possess 2 years or more experience working a RV campground?
