About the Position: This position serves as the Military Personnel Technician in support of personnel actions and services team consisting of a specific group or specialty branch. It is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Have a seasoned understanding of the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and precedents related to the Army Reserve personnel system.
Serve as the Military Personnel Technician in support of a personnel actions and services team consisting of a specific group or specialty branch.
Use a number of computer software packages in performance of assigned duties.
Demonstrate courtesy, tact and good judgment to provide effective customer service and assistance to the managed population.
Assist Soldiers through oral and written communication in the successful resolution of problems or cases.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position may require the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station (10%) of the time.
- A qualified typist is required.

Experience Required:
