About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD, OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR OF SUPPORT, COMMAND SERVICES OFFICE, FORT BELVOIR, VA.

Duties

Serves as the Senior Business Analyst in the Analytics Branch, responsible for the analysis and tracking of requirements throughout their lifecycle and maintains the analysis of contract portfolios. Serves as the Senior Business Analyst in the Analytics Branch, responsible for the analysis and tracking of requirements throughout their lifecycle and maintains the analysis of contract portfolios. Provides technical and administrative supervision, oversight and management of subordinates in support of operations for the Business Analysis Branch. Analyzes contracts data against efficiency and cost effectiveness of programs and functions, essentiality of operations and procedures, elimination of duplicative or fragmented functions and structures, and compliance with established policies.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on an SBI witheligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• TDY will be required 25% or less of the time.
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crises to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• Must submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Statement; Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
