Duties

The position is located in the U.S. Capitol Police, Office of the Assistant Chief of Police for Uniformed Operations, Command and Coordination Bureau (CCB), Command Division, Command Center, Reports Processing Section.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.For the CP-09/GS-11 you must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CP-08/GS-10 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled, and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience which includes: 1) using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to make recommendations on a variety of data collected and disseminated; 2) generating reports, charts, and graphs that convey statistical and/or technical information; 3) developing analytical competencies, identifying issues, and performing preliminary analysis of information and data; and 4) recommending and developing standards, policies and procedures for data management services.ORSUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE:Education may be substituted for experience. For CP-9: Candidate may possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.All eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the vacancy announcement.(Information on Qualification & Education are located at the following link: https://www.opm.gov/policy-dataoversight/classification-qualifications)
