Job opening: MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST

Salary: $99 200 - 128 956 per year

You will serve as a Management and Program Analyst in the NAVAL HISTORY AND HERITAGE COMMAND.

Duties

You will conduct comprehensive studies of work, process improvement, program management, and management projects to refine and improve program planning objectives for the Division. You will conduct meetings with organizational leadership to discuss findings of studies and present recommendations of programmatic procedural improvements You will establish procedures and other program criteria for determining and controlling resource requirements. You will analyze problems and difficulties impacting program development and implementation and provide guidance for solutions. You will develop and maintain effective internal financial controls to include budget development, implementation, and execution. You will assemble, classify, and summarize reported progress results and present findings verbally, graphically, or in written form for senior management.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Proposing, designing, and implementing data collection strategies to refine and improve program planning projects; 2.) Collecting and analyzing data, creating spreadsheets or other interpretive tools, and manipulating data to be used to support program planning objectives; 3.) Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of programs and operations to provide recommendations for programmatic procedural improvements; 4.) Analyzing program data to establish procedures and other program criteria for determining and controlling resource requirements; 5.) Leading division management analysts in projects related to budget planning, analysis, and execution.
